Presents the 39th Annual Davis Double Century
Saturday, May 17, 2008
You are invited to participate in the 2008 Davis Double Century bicycle tour on May 17, organized by the Davis Bike Club. Ride with cyclists from all over the U.S. and Canada on this nationally acclaimed 200 mile, one day cycling event. We limit the total riders to 1,000, so register early to ensure your participation in the Davis Double. Start/Finish is at the same location this year, the Veterans Memorial Center at the corner of 14th and B Streets in Davis. Start time is between 5:15 and 5:45am.
REMEMBER: Approved helmets are required.

Registration for 2008 is now on-line at Active.com
Registration limits have not been reached for the past couple of years,
so don't worry about being "shut-out" because you didn't register as
soon as we opened up registration.

Confirmation and further rider information will be available by May 13th. Rider information will include a map to Start/Finish and information on the Pasta Dinner to be held at pre-ride check-in from 5:00 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. the night before the ride.
Pre-ride check-in and the Pasta Dinner will be held at the same location as Start/Finish this year, Veterans Memorial Center, 203 W 14th Street, Davis CA 95616.
The route map will be distributed to all participants at pre-ride check-in on Friday night or at the Start/Finish on Saturday morning.
Late registration
Registration on Active.com will close at midnight May 10th or when 1,000
applications are received. If the ride is not full, you may register
for this event during pre-ride check-in on Friday, May 16th or at Start/Finish
before 5:00 a.m. the day of the event. Cost for day-of registration is
$140 single, $280 tandem. Registration is limited to 1,000 riders. REGISTER
EARLY.
Late registrants will pickup rider information at
pre-ride check-in. No late registration will be accepted after 5 a.m.
May 17th. Registration is limited to 1,000 participants. No refunds are
available for Double Century registrations. The Start/Finish will be
at the Veterans Memorial Center at the corner of 14th Street and B Street.

for more information. Riders must begin at Start/Finish between 5:15
and 5:45 a.m. THERE WILL BE NO STARTS AFTER 5:45 a.m. Again, this is
not a race, so ride within your abilities, ride safely and you'll finish
easily without SAG assistance. Wearing your approved helmet will keep
you safe and the DC organizers happy!
