| Davis Double |
Davis Bike Club You are invited to participate in the 2008 Davis Double Century bicycle tour on May 17, organized by the Davis Bike Club. Ride with cyclists from all over the U.S. and Canada on this nationally acclaimed 200 mile, one day cycling event. We limit the total riders to 1,000, so register early to ensure your participation in the Davis Double. Start/Finish is at the same location this year, the Veterans Memorial Center at the corner of 14th and B Streets in Davis. Start time is between 5:15 and 5:45am.

Registration for 2008 is now on-line at Active.com
Registration limits have not been reached for the past couple of years,
so don't worry about being "shut-out" because you didn't register as
soon as we opened up registration.

Late registration
Registration on Active.com will close at midnight May 10th or when 1,000
applications are received. If the ride is not full, you may register
for this event during pre-ride check-in on Friday, May 16th or at Start/Finish
before 5:00 a.m. the day of the event. Cost for day-of registration is
$140 single, $280 tandem. Registration is limited to 1,000 riders. REGISTER
EARLY.
Late registrants will pickup rider information at
pre-ride check-in. No late registration will be accepted after 5 a.m.
May 17th. Registration is limited to 1,000 participants. No refunds are
available for Double Century registrations. The Start/Finish will be
at the Veterans Memorial Center at the corner of 14th Street and B Street.

and 5:45 a.m. THERE WILL BE NO STARTS AFTER 5:45 a.m. Again, this is
not a race, so ride within your abilities, ride safely and you'll finish
easily without SAG assistance. Wearing your approved helmet will keep
you safe and the DC organizers happy!
