Join Julie Sly and Anne Huber for a ride that will start in Martinez and include the Benicia Bridge, Lake Herman Road, Mare Island (where we plan to stop for food), and the Carquinez Bride. This ride will start at 9:30 am at the Martinez Regional Shoreline Park at the parking lot near the southern end of North Court Street (see RWGPS map). The start time has been chosen to provide the option of taking the train from Davis to Martinez; the start time is 19 minutes after a weekend westbound capitol corridor train (#727) is due to arrive in Martinez. We will have many regroups because this route is new to the ride leaders. Please: if you want to ride faster than Pace 3, we ask that you find another ride to join. (Or better yet, create and lead a ride that you will enjoy!). This ride is for those who would like to relax and cycle at a more ‘moderate’ pace.
Any weather cancellations will be posted to the DBC listserv.
