Foxy’s Fall Century Ride on Saturday October 19th, 2024, is the Davis Bike Club’s popular late-season cycling event. Often described as the ideal first century ride, it offers challenges, distances, and scenery for riders of all levels.
We offer three routes:
- 100 mile Century with ~3100 feet of climbing through Yolo, Solano, and Napa counties
The moderately challenging climbs begin along Highway 128 westbound as riders approach Lake Berryessa. Most of the climbing occurs before the descent into Wooden Valley and lunch stop at the Gordon Valley fire station, on a lightly traveled back road on the edge of Napa County. Return to Lake Solano via Pleasants Valley and Putah Creek Roads, then back to Davis. - 100k metric Century with ~1100 feet of climbing
The route winds through orchards and rolling hills to the north edge of Vacaville, then toward Winters and lunch at Lake Solano via Pleasants Valley and Putah Creek Roads, and finally back to Davis along orchards and flat country roads. - Flat 50k ride
This flat 31-mile route follows country roads through farmland, over the iconic Stevenson Bridge and then through orchards to Winters with food and beverages in the park before returning to Davis. - More information on these three routes
Volunteer for Foxy’s
Want to help put on Foxy’s? In return for volunteering you will earn the appreciation of the many hundreds of riders that come year after year to celebrate another great Foxy’s. Enjoy the post-ride meal with the riders and each volunteer earns a free Foxy’s T-shirt. Volunteers are also invited to ride in the free Foxy’s Volunteer Appreciation Ride which takes place a week after Foxy’s, ending with a catered lunch for riders and other volunteers that don’t want to ride bikes that day.
