Description
The pace is a leisurely 12 to 14 mph. No one will be dropped, and we have regular catch-up spots. This ride is perfect for riders who want a slower pace, who are recovering from an injury or who are getting back into riding
The route of this ride varies sometimes. Riders may decide to ride a different route instead of the usual one at the start of the ride. The following RWGPS routes are recent favorites.
UC Davis airport, south Davis greenbelt, Mace to Tremont, return via Old Davis Road
Campbell Loop (when Stevenson Bridge is open, currently closed)
Rain or winds over 12 mph will cancel the ride.
Notes:
Plan to arrive ~5 minutes early – the group will roll out at the listed start time. If you miss the start, follow the route and catch up / intercept the group
Note: Cycling has inherent risks and any cyclist taking part in a DBC ride releases DBC from any liability. Guests are welcome to ride with DBC for one ride; for subsequent rides, you must be a member of the Club. By riding with a DBC group ride you acknowledge that you have read and understand this. Helmets are required on all rides.
