Judd Van Sickle, Director of the Sports Performance and Wellness program at UC Davis Sports Medicine will present at the Davis Bike Club members and friends social on Monday, September 9 at 7pm.
Whether you’re looking to get back into shape, take your speed to the next level, or stay injury free; Judd Van Sickle will share his expertise and wisdom from over two decades of coaching, testing and competitive racing. Judd is a former Cat 1 racer and coached the UC Davis Aggies for 20 years, with the team achieving numerous national titles.
He strongly believes that with individualized training, everyone can progress as an athlete. As a professional coach he develops training plans for clients to help them achieve their goals. As a sports medicine professional he offers numerous assessments to help improve clients’ health and performance, including DXA body composition, VO2 max, and bike fits to help them understand their fitness levels and stay injury free.
DBC members and friends socials are free and open to the public, and take place on the second Monday of the month at the U.S. Bicycling Hall of Fame, 303 3rd Street (corner of B Street) in Davis. Doors open at 6:45, meeting officially begins at 7pm.
