Cat Expert Men under 40 – 1st in first race
Women
Cat Sports Open All Ages – Heidi Verbeeck, 1st, 1st, 1st, 1st, 1st – general standing 1st so far
Cat Expert Open All Ages – Maggie Nelson 3rd in first race
In short, we have 3 riders committed to the Prairie City Mountainbike Series, all 3 in the Sports category (which is basically the intermediate category. there is Beginners, Sports and Expert) with Akwetee Watkins being steady and solid, and raking 4th in the general series standing in the age category 50-59, Raymond Spore winning his 5th race in a row yesterday and ranking 1st in the Sports 60+ category and Heidi Verbeeck also winning her 5th in a row in the Sports All Ages womens’ category, and ranking 1st in the series.
With Darin winning the Epic Mendo Grasshopper race and James coming in 4th in the long course, Colleen and Heidi doing track as well, and the MTB races we have the Davis Bike Club Race Team represented in many more disciplines than just road racing. And we are getting amazing results throughout the board in all disciplines!
And more races to come in all those disciplines.
