Foxy’s Fall Century is Davis Bike Club’s largest event of the year. Over 1000 cyclists depend on you, the volunteers, to support them as they are challenged physically and mentally to complete their cycling goals. It takes over 150 volunteers to put on the best-supported ride in all of Northern California. Net receipts from this event allow the DBC to contribute to cycling advocacy groups and many philanthropic causes in our area.
In return for volunteering you will earn the appreciation of the many hundreds of riders that come year after year to celebrate another great Foxy’s. The post-ride meal for riders is also open to volunteers, and each volunteer earns a free Foxy’s T-shirt. Volunteers are also invited to join the free Foxy’s Volunteer Appreciation Ride which takes place a week after Foxy’s. As part of that ride, DBC will host a catered lunch for riders and other volunteers that don’t want to ride bikes that day.
